privacy policy

last updated: 20 july 2026

this policy explains what walletroast collects and why. the short version: we keep as little as possible, and we don't sell your data.

what we collect

  • wallet address — the public address you connect, used to read on-chain history and to tie a roast to a paid order.
  • on-chain data — public transaction stats for that address, fetched from blockchain data providers.
  • order records — a payment/order id, the networks selected, and payment status, so we can deliver the roast you paid for.
  • basic technical data — standard request logs (like ip and browser info) kept by our hosting provider for security and reliability.

what we do not collect

  • no private keys or seed phrases — ever. we can't see them.
  • no names, emails, or accounts — there is no signup.
  • no signatures or transaction approvals from your wallet.

how we use it

we use the data above solely to generate your roast, process your payment, deliver the result, and keep the service secure and working. the wallet stats are sent to an ai provider to write the roast text.

who we share it with

  • a crypto payment processor, to take payment and confirm it.
  • blockchain data providers, to read public on-chain history.
  • an ai provider, to generate the roast text from wallet stats.
  • our hosting and database providers, to run the service.

we don't sell your data or share it for advertising.

public roasts

when you share a roast, its link contains the roast content and the short-form address shown on the card. anyone with the link can view it — that's the point of sharing. don't share a roast you want to keep private.

retention

we keep order records for as long as needed to run the service, meet legal obligations, and resolve disputes. technical logs are kept for a limited period by our providers.

your choices

the simplest control is not connecting your wallet. for questions about your data, or to request deletion of your order records where applicable, contact us through the details on the site.

changes

we may update this policy; the “last updated” date reflects the current version. this english version is the authoritative one; translations are for convenience.
